Workforce Development
Recently there has been a growth of learning opportunities in the workplace and the service has provided successful courses for employees at several local companies including Bombardier, Toyota, Midland Mainline and local schools.

Learning to break down language barriers
Derby Adult Learning Service (DALS) is breaking down communication barriers for Punjabi and Urdu speakers, and people with limited English speaking skills by creatively using simple kiosk technology around the city to help welcome and introduce them to the learning service.
