What will I be learning?

  • Learn how to use a defined range of counselling skills
  • Consider why you would use specific skills in particular situations
  • Understand the importance of using counselling skills ethically and within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling

This is a qualification course made up of course work assignments and a 90 minute exam. There is an expectation that learners will complete work outside of the taught sessions. All learners will be required to write a weekly reflective journal, additional evidence of learning will be assessed through written reviews, peer feedback from role plays, and an assignment.
