What is on offer?

Derby Adult Learning Service can offer employers a range of training in the workplace accredited courses in:

Adult Literacy Levels 1 & 2
Adult Numeracy Levels 1 & 2
ITQ (an IT user qualification tailored to the needs of employers and employees)
ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Levels 2 & 3
NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 2
NOCN Level 1 Certificate in Language Skills

Our bespoke courses include: ICT; Modern Foreign Languages (MFL): Counselling; British Sign Languages (BSL); Deaf Awareness and Pre-Retirements.

We offer flexible delivery by highly qualified and experienced tutors. The high quality of teaching has been recognised by award of an 'A' grade by the British Computer Society annually for the past 4 years and our results demonstrate our success….

In 2008/09 our overall qualification success rates for courses that we delivered to employers was 87% against the national average of 73%.
