Who is this course for

Do you want to explore the exciting world of 3D printing then this course is ideal for anyone interested in learning how to design and produce their own 3D objects.

What are the entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.
The course is suitable for anyone with basic computer skills and an interest in design or technology.

What will I be learning

You will learn about the basics of 3D printing technology and use beginner friendly 3D design software to
create and edit simple 3D models.
You will then prepare files for 3D printing to gain hands on experience in printing your own design.

How will I be assessed and supported

There is no formal assessment. You will demonstrate your learning and progress through practical activities, including designing and printing their own 3D object and an Individual Learning Plan. You will be supported by the tutor throughout the course.

What do I need to bring?

Notepad and pen. All other equipment, including access to 3D printers and design software, will be provided.
