This is an on-line session opening up the world of Linked In to give you a better understanding of the benefits, use and relevant features of Linked In as a recruitment tool and to help you access networks that will help in your professional development.

What will I be learning?

Building an on-line profile using Linked In

This will be an initial interactive session using Zoom video conferencing.  Don't worry if you're not sure about using new technology, when you enrol on the course we will contact you and help you set up the links and send you some pre-course information to help you prepare.  

The course will look at the use of Linked In as regards to promoting yourself via online. How to create an effective profile as well as how to use some of the features to enable you to get noticed will be covered.

The course is aimed at those looking for a new career or who just wish to explore alternative ways to promote themselves.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to log in to Zoom on your computer or tablet and be sure that your device is enabled for sound (microphone and speakers/headphones).  We will email some materials prior to the session.

During the session you will be able to discuss and review your understanding of the topics covered.
